1. DIGITAL ELECTRONIC ART (preferred)
A digital file is preferred for submission of your graphics file. This will allow us to output your files to proper specifications and if necessary make adjustments or corrections that may be needed.
File Preparation:
- Acceptable File Formats:
- Adobe Illustrator - Mac or PC, Version CS2 or below.
- Adobe Photoshop - Mac or PC, Version CS2 or below.
- EPS, TIFF, JPEG/JPG, DWG, DXF, WMF
- Please prepare your images as vector images for all graphic and text designs.
- For photos, use bitmap (raster) Images. Resolution must be sufficient to produce a file at 120 pixel per inch or greater at the final image size to ensure proper output quality.
- Submit custom images at the final size. The document size should be the glass panel size with the image positioned and aligned exactly as the finished layout will appear. Files that require sizing and positioning will be subject to additional art charges.
- Custom items that require multiple files to build printed image will incur additional art charges.
- Convert all fonts to Outlines, or Curves. DecoTherm is not responsible for text spacing or reflow for images where font is not turned to paths.
- Text intensive files (ie. Donor Boards) should be submitted as vector files to obtain best results.
2. CAMERA-READY ARTWORK
Camera-ready artwork is defined as professionally produced black, clean edge copy suitable for scanning, where minimal design and clean-up is required to achieve professional quality digital results. If you prefer to supply a hard copy, additional art charges will apply. Please contact your DecoTherm supplier for an estimate.
3. SKETCHES, OTHER FORMATS AND ORIGINAL DESIGNS
Sketches, faxed or low resolution or unusable digital artwork will be accepted, but will incur additional art charges. DecoTherm has a full service Design Studio that can design custom images to meet your needs. Please ask your DecoTherm supplier for an estimate.

- You are allowed up to 3 colors per image.
- Files must be prepared for CMYK process printing.

- Each color must be rendered as a spot color or one of the following color channels: Cyan (C), Magenta (M), or Black (K). DO NOT USE the Yellow Channel (Y) as one of your color separations.
- Please specify which DecoTherm color is represented by color channels in the design.
- When sending your color separated artwork, please use the following format to indicate which DecoTherm color is associated with a particular channel:
SAMPLE IMAGE_WHITE_C.ai (File Name_Ink Color_Color Channel Cyan)
